Once Upon a Time: Who is Peter Pan?

If you have been keeping up with Once Upon a Time on ABC, you know that the Season 2 ender featured Henry (played by Jared Gilmore) being taken to Neverland where an evil force (known as Peter Pan) awaits. Now you may be wondering what is in store for season 3. Below are my own personal ideas of what we may expect in Season 3 of Once Upon a Time.
First, I enjoy Once Upon a Time when it’s good but I hate this emotional, whiny roller coaster the writers enjoy putting us on. I don’t want this show to turn, like Emma’s (played by Jennifer Morrison) last role, in the hit show House, to be a train wreck and boring and tiresome. Also, I am getting the vibe that we are going down the road of LOST with having these elaborate story-line’s that can’t possibly be wrapped up in 3-4 seasons. It appears the writers will try to stretch this thing out for money and syndication purposes- so they will push for more mindless episodes. I would rather watch a show with only a few seasons and then a movie, rather then, a show that loses itself in lazy writing, stupid season enders and unresolved plot lines.
I think the actor they choose to be Neal Cassidy/Baelfire (played by younger Dylan Schmid) (played by older Michael Raymond-James) the older being a casting mistake- every role this Raymond-James plays, he plays a wimpy, non-leading character. When I look at him, I just wonder how did Emma sleep with that guy? They could have, at least, gotten a strong pretty boy or even a fairly attractive ruggedly handsome guy- I think Neal is way too whiny and a pushover and too emotional. He looks like every guy’s college roommate. What woman wants a guy like him, in that, he won’t stand up and fight for what he wants?
Remember how easily he left Emma? After August/Pinocchio (played by Wayne Booth) told him to? All the time, he looks like a drunk blues player and yes he has a reason to be a drunk (but not a blues player) considering his “back-story” but I think, in regards to casting, they dropped the ball. Emma has more chemistry with Hook (played by Colin O’Donoghue)! and we all know and see that.
However, back to Season 3 of Once Upon a Time. I think Peter Pan, is a potential new love interest for Emma. As we all know, when Emma meet Neal, she was a thief and who better to have taught her the ropes then her childhood friend who goes by the name “Peter Pan”, in Fairytale Land. Somebody had to have taught Emma, what she knows and we know that the foster care system was not a great place but is a great setup for Emma/Peter Pan former love relationship (however, Emma will know him by another name like Mike, Jack, James or whatever).
I think what they will do, or what would be a good idea to do, is show in Season 3 flashbacks of Emma’s childhood where we meet Peter Pan- a boy Emma grew up with him, fell in love with him but left because she discovered he was evil or that he would never change his stealing ways. What makes Neal different is that he stole to have a better life and wanted a life (long-term) with Emma but Peter never wanted children and was selfish.
We know that Peter is an emotional creature, driven by passion and emotions and not always logic and that he will never change– he likes stealing and being devious. I think that his shadow comes back from Neverland to reality, looking for Emma, thus, he takes Wendy because she resembles a younger Emma. Peter looks for young girls that are devious, full of fun and won’t back down from an adventure. So, a part of him continues to return to our world looking for his Emma. He is forever looking for Emma because she ran off leaving a whole in his heart. Throughout her childhood she went on adventures with him. This would work very well with the idea that everyone in Fairytale Land/Storybrooke is connected in some way.
So, Peter is looking for Henry because Henry is the only way Emma would come back. This structuring of the story bodes well for the series because about Emma ( the story-land savior). Peter took Henry to lure Emma back and he may feel inclined to kill him because then, there will be nothing keeping Peter and Emma apart. The real reason, he passes over Baelfire and is looking for Henry is because Peter knows that in the future, Henry is the real reason Emma is trying to change for the good and does not want good Emma because an Evil Emma is what he likes. Also, from the looks of it Emma would not really “cross the street” for Baelfire. Season 4 can center on Bad Emma because her character has been somewhat complacent once she broke the curse.
But for now, Season 3 we will explore the Peter/Emma (or Pemma) former love affair/relationship. Of course, Neal is not dead and he will factor into things before “all is lost” or some kind of “true loves kiss” situation. Eventually, they will find Henry and return to find Storybrooke a ghost town due to some evil that went unchecked. I thought it odd that the entire group (including the mayor, the entire police force and Rumple hopped on the ship and left). Considering people are just driving in to town and popping up. I would have let Henry fend for himself.
If I were a writer of the show, I would put both Henry and Neal into some sort of time warp because the kid that plays Henry is 12-years old (in real life he is turning 13) and we don’t want to have a Walt situation like LOST, when you have the show run a few seasons but forget that if a main character is a playing a boy, he will not stay that way for long. SO, eventually you will have to end the show, replace him/her or do something or you will have a character that is supposed to be playing a 10-11 year old with a deep voice and a beard. Put simply, prepare to ditch/replace the kid (Henry) with an older character possibly in the age group from 15-20. Look at Emma, she is the same age as her parents kind of. Nothing against the kid but pretty soon they will have the evils of puberty to deal with and that can be the evilest force of all.
Neal needs to be put in a time warp because they need a better looking actor to play the role, one that come back much stronger and less whiny.

NBC’s Community the Good Timeline meant the show ould see a 5th Season
April 25th, 2013
I may be in the minority but I think this season of NBC’s once great show Community ended in season 3. It has made me utterly sick to my stomach to see Britta with the man-child Troy which seemed contrived from the beginning but the writers completely ignored the Season 1 chemistry between Annie and Troy.
Also, I thought that Dr. Rich would have been a great character to add to the group rather then Senior Chang and to eventually have Britta marry, yes I said, marry Dr. Rich because in season 3 we discovered that Britta is attracted to men that are emotionally and mentally broken. They introduced Asian Annie and did very little with it, then they introduced Dr. Rich to only have his character fall off somewhere. I think Dr. Rich was/is the anti-Jeff.
We all know that Jeff will be Jeff but to give him Daddy issues this season then to follow him home and meet his weird brother was just “way off topic”. Also, to imply that Britta and Jeff have little to no chemistry but then to put them together helping each other in every scene and hinting at something is just frustrating. If you are going to make Britta and Jeff “just friends” then Britta needs to date a character like Dr. Rich and we can have Jeff be Jeff. I think this entire season has been too much about emotions and resolution. Who really goes to college to resolve Daddy issues?
Personally, I enjoyed Britta and Jeff as a couple but I understand I am in the minority. However, what most fans can’t ignore is that what sustained Season 1 of this show was the Britta-Jeff pairing and not this convoluted mess we have now. Or have we forgotten the study group was inadvertently formed by Jeff when trying to land a date with Britta. I think we need a return to Season 1 dynamics and not this.
Season 1 was the strongest because it was witty, funny and just better. Right now, I feel the writers are trying to pander to what little audience they think they have left- rather than trying to attract more people. To attract more people, you have to STOP writing every future episode like everyone in the audience watching, not only understand the characters, they also understand the references and social cues and we all know that for a potential fan– the show is constantly talking to those who have been watching since the beginning rather then keeping the show simple and funny but fresh as well.
Remember in Season 3 when Britta slept with Subway for no real reason? or in Season 1 we saw Abed’s Dad? What happened to Annie’s family? Remember she moved out to prove to them that she could make it but was living in that horrible apartment?
Now, Shirley is way too religious and Pierce is not even being given much of a chance to remotely act as a member of the team. He has come through for the group on multiple occasion’s but I guess that gets ignored considering that in real life/ behind the scenes actor Chevy Chase and Dan Harmon have been booted. Would you not leave the show with lines like Chevy?
It seems like the show was about a community college and now each episode is like an after school special with Britta’s pasty body jumping out windows, Abed being more special needs, Shirley being that religious-fat black women everyone keeps around for her cooking, Jeff being warm and fuzzy…… Seriously, I also feel that Abed’s character has gone backgrounds.
“My O My” what did Abed do before the Troy friendship? What about his overbearing Dad that we have yet to see again? I enjoy the Troy-Abed combo but their relationship is borderline weird and not Inspector Spacetime weird– I get that.
It just seems like we are in the bad time line and even the writers know this. If Community gets another season it will only be to wreck the characters and story lines that attracted us in Season 1. This season has been about recklessly resolving all conflicts and make everything fit when it’s coming together in a complete mess. Also, to continually make Dean Pelton “gay” for Jeff is getting borderline stalkerish and shameful– it’s now not funny.
At this point, I was once a fan that religiously cleared out my schedule for Community on Thursday nights, now I find myself DVR’ing it and watching it when utterly bored or randomly on Hulu. I enjoyed the ranting of Senior Chang, the akward entrances of Dean Pelton and even enjoyed the air conditioning school but come on. Now we are continually seeing the study group, at home and pushing aside supporting character’s like Leonard, Neil, Starburns (I know he died in the meth lab explosion supposedly) but the show had a cast that works and now we are spending episodes in Abed’s mind, looking at Troys receding hairline and Annie’s deeper cut shirts.
To me, more worse than a canceled Community, is a Community with no direction and no reason to even set the DVR because last weeks episode was another parody, puppet, video game, lazily written 30 minute yawn-feast that featured the characters formally known as the Greendale Human beings. I guess what I am saying is return the show to Greendale and the classes and diorama and not this mushy stuff that has little to nothing to do with Community College or don’t return with another season because I will not be watching.
And the Father of Lana’s Baby is….
April 25th, 2013Somewhere Krieger is laughing that Lana is pregnant and I think he tried to play God again. No, Krieger is not the father but yet I am sure he had something to do with the pregnancy. I am sure he will be behind providing her all the neonatal care she needs. Viva la Piggly!
However, I am 100% sure Archer is the father of this super spy-child because of the show. Three things normally happen when a show begins to decline and that is:
1. A main character dies
2. A character gets pregnant
3. A plane crashes on a remote island stranding the survivors
Well, maybe the last point may come from my bitterness from the ending of LOST but I did see a similar scenario on Grey’s Anatomy, so I am not that far off. However, in FX’s Archer, we have a solid cast that simply “works”. One would have to wonder why the writers would mess that up or tinker with the prize winning formula. Remember, in LOST, when some of the survivors returned to civilization and all was well with the world then Jack, summoning the power of his nasty beard persuades everyone to return to the Island wrecking the lives of the ones who were left behind, despite everyone being pretty happy (of course not Sayid and Sun). Well, having Lana pregnant may be a train wrecking waiting to happen because we all know the foundation of the show is as much Archer as it centers around a group of single (forgetting Cyril and the wee baby Seamus) ISIS employees and their navigation around the single life. So, Yes I am implying that Mrs. Archer marrying “Ron” was a HUGE mistake because its inconsistent with the show thus far.
Nevertheless, the father of this child has to be Archer because we all know that no matter how hard Lana tries she can not escape the Sterling Archer Express and I felt this season was building up to the “big revelation”.
With all this ranting you may ask, what do I have in the way of proof that Archer is the father; well, I have one episode and that was episode 10 of the 4th season titled “Un Chien Tangerine” when she and Archer went to get Agent Kazak (the Dog). The opener of this episode Archer was naked on the bed and she was on the floor in only underpants– no one else was there despite Archer saying that he brought some co-eds up.
So this leads me to believe that:
(1)Either the two of them were drugged, or
(2) Someone is lying about “last night”.
Also, they both admitted to a hazy night.
To mention: After flocking to the web to read the comments of other fans, some fans believe Barry to be the father but I believe this to be nothing more than “Evil-Barry” fodder and an interesting idea but no– she is Mrs. Sterling Archer- period. Also, in this season they have all but pushed the Barry-Katya storyline to the curb. In my opinion, by killing Katya last season and then after she comes back as a cyborg, and have her “screw” Barry and then have her trick Archer into bringing Barry back, I think its safe to say that, that attraction is dead- like the real Katya. Remember Archers, vacuum incident as a young boy?
Also, Lana mumbled “donor” when responding to Cyril when asking about the child’s father which can mean she does not want to admit it or that she is not ready to accept it (that Archer is the father) or that she (like Mallory) is unsure. Remember Krieger visiting a young-boy Archer?
Others say, Ray may be the father because of his question “where is she registered?” but I believe that to be a reference to a purchasing a baby shower gift and not a throwback to a past season when she asked Ray to impregnate her while possibly drunk. So, this was not meant to mean that Ray was asking which sperm bank she was registered at as some have suggested. In the end, I just don’t see Lana flipping a coin when it comes to the paternity of her future child. She is way too picky for that and if that were the case she would have gotten pregnant by now and she is an attractive enough women to not need to beg for anything in the sexual category.
So, I am willing to say that if she did, indeed, go to a sperm bank (which is possible) Archer would still somehow be the father in some weird turn of events like he was not the father of Trunette’s baby (the wee baby Seamus). He will be the father of this child. Also, this show gives us very little in the way of a time line, so it possible that she got pregnant before Archer went on his rampage- I know she said she was 5-weeks along but since this is a cartoon, each episode could be a week or a day in “real” time.
I honestly believe Archer to be the father because this season was all about building Archer into something new- a Dad. He took care of Agent Kazak, he is an excellent chef, a step-father and in the end he would sacrifice his very life to save Lana, his only friend in the world (no mention of Agent Luke).
In this season, we saw there is more to him then being a secret agent man. He is who he is because of his mother, childhood and being sexually assaulted even into adulthood. I hope those watching can see that as much as this show is funny, it is also pretty sad and depressing. We see a kid that was always alone, pudgy, a cold-distant mother who loved her dog more than her own son– who (even into adulthood) is still vying for his mothers affection.
A baby would be a new start, a chance to start a new life and be the father he never had. I know a zebra hardly changes its stripes but I think Archer will at least try. I am willing to bet that in the next season he and Lana may try “the normal” life until they find an underground terrorist cell in the child’s daycare.
Again, I would believe Krieger had something to do with her getting pregnant in that he tried playing matchmaker or playing with genes.
Some possible other ideas of Lana’s baby days were:
1. Conway, the black spy from the last season that stabbed Archer- but I also feel this is too much of a stretch. There was not attraction there at all.
One last time, I think this is Krieger playing God with two people’s lives, like he always does. Either way, Barry, Ray, Conway, Cyril etc SHOULD NOT EVER be the father because it’s inconsistent with the storyline.
Looking forward, now it’s feasible that Season 5′s opener will be Archer and Lana married, trying to raise a kid and or Lana trying to deny the fact that the kids’ piercing blue eyes and jet black hair are not a dead giveaway that Archer is the father.
While I am ranting, on a side note, I first thought that Archer’s best friend Agent Luke who went to work for ODIN after his ISIS training would have make a good match for Lana BUT the writers (again) wrote themselves in a box by making him gay and Lana supposedly killed him. Personally, I think that Luke as a love interest would have been an interesting storyline for Lana and proving that she really tried to move on from Archer– which I NOW know she can’t. To have Lana move on, with possibly a better agent and a person who makes her genuinely happy would have been nice and it would have been consistent with the storyline. Archer as the aging bachelor agent and Lana as the former agent now turned “soccer mom” who has never forgotten the spy-life but choose a different path.
The real shame is, Archer needs some real show competition, I liked ODIN and Barry as the rival agency but the writers had to make him a cyborg and never mention ODIN.
If the writers add another “weak” supporting character this will overall weaken the show. I just don’t seem them adding an additional component because the cast they have works and this season was all about seeing Lana and Archer long-term, possible married and in a long but yet dysfunctional relationship. We all know what drives the show is the Archer/Lana love/hate relationship.
What some many people fail to realize is that the show can not go on forever (unlike my post) and there needs to be some sort of character development and we need to hit a conclusion before the show jumps the shark.

FX Archer: Sea Tunt Part II
April 11th, 2013Synopsis- Archer and the ISIS crew go to an underwater sea laboratory to stop Capt. Murphy.
SPOILER ALERT! The biggest development in this episode is that Lana Caine is pregnant and she reveals that Cyril is not the father- which leaves us assuming that Archer may be the father? She admits that she is 5-weeks pregnant and that has set the web abuzz as to see what mission and with whom she was with to get pregnant.
Last week we saw her, Archer and Pam on a mission to save the pope but they have done very little to establish a time frame as to where, who and “when” we are. Of course, I would very well assume that somehow Archer is the father and or she used a sperm bank– but knowing her attraction for dysfunction, I would assume that Archer is the father somehow. I base this on the mission were they were to recover the undercover agent (the dog) and she fell asleep and Archer woke up naked on the bed, while she woke up on the floor- I assumed this took place anyway. However, I am sure they will string out the childs’ biological father for an entire season before revealing it was/is Archer.
We did see th love between them in this episode and we dived further into Cheryls’ dysfunction and how much Archer is like his mother in both his drinking habits and in his missions.
NBC’s Community Season 4 Sucks!
February 22nd, 2013Where do we start with “Conventions of Space and Time,”? Its a overused throwback to Dr. Who and the very fact that they got Tricia Helfer’s as a wasted guest star role– was silly. Have we all forgotten what started this show. I get sick at the thought of Britta and Troy having sex, Annie cutie-ing her way through being a psychopath, Jeff not having a foil etc. If this keeps up, they will lose yet another fan. On a side not, Gillian needs a tan (her pasty skin on the Black Bra swinging on the rope out the window were not flattering).
Unlike many people, I don’t find myself graveling for every episode of Community. Like the British, I believe it is better for a show to have 2- perfect seasons rather than 1-good season followed by 3-seasons of destroying everything we have come to enjoy about the first season.
This past episode of Community, I felt, has begun the slow decline of Season 1 Community and that is pretty sad. To me, its as if the show is backtracking and trying to rewrite the progress of the characters. Abed and Annie are more unhealthy dependent, with the crew encouraging their crazy. Britta is more of a whore, Pierce is more weird.
I may be in the minority but something seems off about this season. Its just weak. The fact that they are trying to make us accept the Britta-Troy relationship but not pairing the actual reasonable couple found in Jeff-Annie is ridiculous. Yet another case of social engineering to me, a Black Guy with a white girl and I am not racist but I am noticing a trend and its getting ridiculous.
Now all of a sudden Britta and Troy are an old married coupled and Abed is the
step-child”. Yes, something is wrong with this season. Than with the banter between Jeff and Britta, I am unsure if she is simply dating Troy because she is a whore or to get a response out of Jeff because we have seen the conflict between Jeff and Troy since the beginning (revolving around group leader). Have we forgotten that the show was centered around this smart-ass lawyer who went back to get his real degree and he joined the group because of Britta.
Now, the continue to toy with Annie’s craziness? You would not “feel good” about an individual you took a trip with and who fabricated a relationship with you to the degree of putting hair in the bathroom. Pierce and Shirley’s storyline just plain stinks! they just make cameo appearances- now, I guess.
