At Movie Scribes, we are not “critics”- We are “Scribes” and Scribes. We record, the thoughts, opinions and reactions of movie goers and some critics. Many of our reviews are collaborative and represent those polled, survey takers and the utilization of our data collection method.
Our reviews follow the simple 3 step criteria of:
(1) Consistency- Is the film staying true to what it is trying to be or its message?
(2) Family Friendly- Is the film something adults, with children, can watch together?
(2) Tasteful- Are nudity, sexual liaisons, cursing etc present and or appropriate?
(3) Lastly, each Scribes is permitted to add his or her own standard(s).
Most reviewers will dismiss a film because it’s not what they want it to be- we base it on, what the reaction and thoughts of our users.

Will is a journalist and freelance writer for the New York Independent Press he is a Lead Web Developer at Carleshia Thornton Studios. His film industry experience includes several years as a self proclaimed movie critic and a short time as a movie screener. He holds an Bachelors in Business with a specialization in both Finance and Economic.
Christina Zawadiwsky: DVD and Blu-ray Movie Reviews
Christina Zawadiwsky is Ukrainian-American, born in New York City, has a degree in Fine Arts, and is a poet, artist, journalist and TV producer. She has received a National Endowment for the Arts Award, two Wisconsin Arts Boards Awards, a Co-Ordinating Council of Literary Magazines Writers Award, and an Art Futures Award, among other honors. She was the originator and producer of Where The Waters Meet, a local TV series created to facilitate the voices of artists of all genres in the media, for which she won two national and twenty local awards, including a Commitment to Community Television Award. She is also a contributing editor to the annual Pushcart Prize Anthology, the recipient of an Outstanding Achievement Award from the Wisconsin Library Association, and has published four books of poetry. Laura Hartness: DVD and Blu-ray Movie Reviews
Laura also owns and operates The Calico Critic, a website that offers reviews and promotional giveaways of books, movies and DVDs. Born in Greensboro, NC and now residing in Vero Beach, FL, Laura is a happily married mother of two boys. She earned her B.A. in Christian Education from Wheaton College, although the majority of her semesters were spent at Wake Forest University. She is a Content Specialist for PDgo.com, assisting the company in producing affordable, customer-maintained websites. She is a contributing author with the Christian organization First Place 4 Health, providing content for various devotional titles. Her current movie tastes range from Pride & Prejudice to Star Wars.

Jenny Lee is a Canuck, born in beautiful Vancouver, BC and has a degree in Microbiology and Computer Science. The recently self-proclaimed social media queen has been blogging on and off for seven years on http://dpotato.blogspot.com, where she writes reviews about movies, books and events. She loves movies and has a vast collection of DVDs and Blu-rays.
