The Amazing World of Gumball sucks! Why? Because it so random and the show lacks focus. I am not sure of the children of today find much entertainment in a screaming blue cat- who spends half his dialogue yelling, yelling at someone else or lying. Honestly, I have tried to warm up to this show but it gives me a headache.

His parents are stupid, he (again) lies all the time, his friend is an idiot and the show features a lot of inappropriate themes including one episode where I heard Darwin say “he could ‘fish’ slap’ a monster. Than later in the episode Gumball strips down and they had to edit out his private area.

What really annoys me, with shows like this is that rather than be a South Park or Family Guy, they market these shows to children- keep in mind the themes are very adult and the children constantly run around unsupervised and they have little to no problem disrespecting authority because in the end they always get their was. I am sorry but I have a problem with a show like this.

Multiple times I have sat down to watch and episode of this program and I find myself getting up to check my mail, scrub my floor or just leave the room because this show is like nails on a chalkboard. I am unsure if its the constant screaming, horrible plot lines, dull action and unfunny humor- I wish they show would be cancelled and they would bring back the MisAdventures of FlapJack because that was a funny program.
