Project X- If you have yet to catch the catchy soundtrack or you may find yourself chuckling at the thought of stuffing a Little Person in an oven- this movie may have caught your eye in one way or another. After reviewing the movie, I can’t help but wonder why anyone would find this movie remotely funny or even worth trying- since our youth are so impressionable. I am not sure why Hollywood continues to push the ‘dry plot’ of a skinny- white kid, that wants to be recognized for something but doesn’t know what- so he decides to do something that only a goofy little white boy could get away with- without being thrown in jail for 2-life terms.

The moral of the movie:

“Kids, give in to peer pressure even if that means wrecking your parents property, burning down your entire neighborhood, disrespecting authority, endangering the life of as many people as it takes, attempting murder and suicide, taking drugs, impregnating potentially underage intoxicated girls, lying to your parents…. because in the end the only thing that matters is your freeloading friends who you did not even charge to get in to your party- o yea, and real friends will not only encourage you to do all this, they will help in the destruction and go to their home leaving you on your High School bleachers upset and tired- with your dog Milo.”

Also, I am tried of Hollywood constantly telling young boys that if they are in their teens and they are not thinking of ways to trick a girl into to sleeping with them, than something is wrong with them. However, we have moral debates on whether a young man should be labelled a sex-offender if he unknowingly sleeps with an underage person, or if he lets those ‘urges’ drive him to rape, molest or kill someone. Do we not yet understand that we can not have our cake and eat it too? We can’t stress to kids the ‘party mentality’ but then expect them to want to grow up and be contributing members of society.

Are we not all tired of these government entitlement programs that perpetuate the cycle consequences of have unprotected sex, group sex, or oral sex at a party- don’t invest in insurance and when you find you are carrying an STD (spread it to as many ignorant people as possible) and then die on the system- leaving the responsible Americans with the bill- o.. and we get to financial support your illegitimate child for years. Is it still a secret that a promiscuous lifestyle is a burden on society and the moral fabric of out once great nation. Put simply, you can’t do Project X and not pay the consequences because you leave in reality.

How can we teach kids good behavior, moral decision making and ethics when lying, cheating, stealing and unprotected sex are so much fun. What really got me about this movie is its jaded moral- do whatever it takes to be seen in school (but conveniently forget the fact that most young people have the attention span of a 2-year old and they will forget your little stunt by next week.) and in your quest to be popular in High School (which really matters) burn down your house, impregnate several girls, take drugs etc, etc. -what, have we really sunken that low?

Project X- was Hollywoods next lame attempt to further indoctrinate another generation of party animals, degenerates, child molesters, pedophiles, bestiality- etc, etc. So, the next time your taxes soar but your goofy looking neighbor with her 10 kids eats 75% of your paycheck realize, as you sit at your dead end job struggling to pay your taxes that your neighbors partying the night away because in the morning they screwed both your daughter and your finances.
